Needle Felt Workshop

Using a range of beautiful carded wools you will create your own little fairy.  There will be an opportunity to decorate with beautiful merino (aka roving/tops).  
I will take you from design to finished article, including methods for making wings.  There are only 10 places so you will get a fully supported opportunity to learn and experiment. The aim is to relax and enjoy the process. 

This will involve a fair amount of wrapping and possibly a little sewing so you will need a fairly good level of dexterity and nimble fingers.

Level: Crafty Beginners/Intermediate

You will have a range of colours to choose from Reds, Oranges, Yellow, Greens, Blues and Purples or Rainbow.  Sorry no pink, we don’t do pink!  Please message me with your colour choice as soon as possible so that I can check my stock and order anything that is popular. 

 You will need to bring a packed lunch and refreshments as the cafe is not open at the weekend. 

The Hub has access for those who use wheelchairs.  My courses are aimed to be inclusive so please let me know if there is anything I can do to ensure you are fully supported.  Needle Felting is a great craft for helping with mental health and as I sufferer I am keen to support others to find the joy this craft can bring.  I ask all my participants to be mindful of themselves and others within the group.

This course is aimed at adults.  Children over 10 will need to be accompanied by a participating adult and will need to be able to concentrate for 4 hours at a time. 

£3.00 from each place goes to a local environmental project.
