We are rolling out our TREEGENERATION LOCAL pilot in West Wales later this year, and members of the public will have opportunities to support participating wildlife organisations to raise funds for planting trees and creating new woodland.
BuyBRIGHT
Buy an offer from a participating businesses here. In return you will receive a discount voucher for the same amount, which you can use with that business. The cash that you purchase your voucher with is forwarded to the woodland project of your choice. It is your cash that is sent to the woodland, but actually it is the business that bears the cost.
GiveWELL
Cash is tight for businesses as well, and this option provides a way for you to share the load with them. Buy an offer of this type from a participating business, and receive a discount. The cash that you pay is donated to the woodland project of your choice, and the discount your receive is half the amount that you donated. The actual cost of the donation is shared between you and the business.
When you Share the Load, you automatically receive a certificate acknowledging your part of the donation, the number and type of trees you have paid for, and the amount of carbon they will be expected to remove from the atmosphere during their life time.
Donate to Woodland Projects
If you simply want to make a donation to a woodland project without buying an offer from a participating business, you can do so here. When you make a donation you will automatically receive a certificate acknowledging the amount you have donated, the number and type of trees you have paid for, and the amount of carbon they will be expected to remove from the atmosphere during their life time.
Offset your carbon
It's not easy to live a modern day lifestyle, without being responsible for the creation of carbon, and polluting the atmosphere. If you're concerned about your emissions and want to do something about it, we are giving you the option to buy Offsets and support woodland livelihoods.
The woodland projects supported by Treegeneration are registered with the UK Woodland Carbon Code, and as such they are able to sell the carbon that is captured as their trees grow.
We do not have any carbon for sale yet, but you can register in order to purchase offsets from us as soon as we have some available to sell. The offsets that you purchase will be retired on a public register, and we will provide you with a certificate as thanks for your help.
